Independent watchmaker MB&F Watches released the Legacy Machine Perpetual Calendar, its latest fashion statement and effort to stay alive. The unique and disruptive design of the brand should be enough to capture your attention. The fourth chapter of the Legacy Machine collection is, as you’d expect, the most complicated luxury mens watch developed by MB&F.
The avant-garde brand went for a classic display, stylish and elegant, composed of four sub dials that float above the dial – a unique and interesting feature, no doubt about that. The skeletonized subdials rest on hidden studs, designed by MB&F in collaboration with Irish watchmaker Stephen McDonnell, allpwing us all to glance upon the 581-components that make up the caliber.
This new perpetual calendar can easily be recognized as a MB&F creation, as it features the signature suspended balance wheel, 19th century style hand finishing and hand-made engravings. The case measures 44 mm x 17.5 mm, allowing the new Legacy Machine to boast the same look and feel as previous models.
The MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual is a miniature piece-of art, with a power reserve indicator at 4 o’clock, as well as a retrograde leap year indicator at 7 o’clock. The brand will be releasing 25 piece into the wild, in 18K 5N+ red gold, and another 25 pieces in platinum 950. Decisions, decisions!
